1. Who we are
Cheqr is an independent UK price comparison service for fuel, broadband and mobile deals. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean the operator of the Site.
2. What Cheqr does — and doesn't do
We show information about fuel prices, broadband deals and mobile deals from a range of UK providers, ranked by real total cost. We do not sell fuel, broadband or mobile services ourselves and are not a broker, agent or credit provider. Any contract you enter into is directly with the third-party provider you choose.
3. Accuracy of information
We work hard to keep prices and deal details accurate, but the market changes frequently. Before you buy, always confirm the current price and terms on the provider's own website. We do not warrant that any information on the Site is complete, current or error-free, and we accept no liability for pricing or availability differences between our Site and the provider.
4. How we make money
We may receive a commission from certain providers when you click through and take out a deal. This never affects the ranking of deals on the Site — every list is ordered by genuine total cost. Fuel data is provided free from public sources and we do not earn commission on it.
5. Your use of the Site
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site or its servers.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site.
- Scrape, copy or reproduce content from the Site for commercial purposes without our written permission.
- Submit false, misleading or malicious content through any form on the Site.
6. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — including branding, text, images, layout and code — are owned by Cheqr or licensed to us, and are protected by UK and international intellectual property law. You may view and share links to pages on the Site for personal, non-commercial use. All other rights are reserved.
7. Third-party links
The Site contains links to third-party websites, including providers of the deals we compare. We are not responsible for the content, practices or terms of those sites. Following a link is at your own risk.
8. Alerts and email
If you sign up for a price alert, you're consenting to us sending you email notifications about that alert. You can unsubscribe at any time with a single click, and we'll stop sending them straight away.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from your use of the Site, including without limitation loss of profit, savings, opportunity or data. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
10. Changes to the Site or these terms
We may change the Site, its features, or these terms at any time. Material changes to these terms will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
