How we get paid.

Cheqr is free to use. You will never pay us a penny. But we still have to keep the lights on, so here is exactly how the business works, in plain English.

Affiliate commission

When you click through to a broadband, mobile or energy provider and take out a deal, that provider pays us a small referral fee. It never changes the price you pay.

No listing fees

Providers cannot pay us to appear on Cheqr, to rank higher, or to hide a cheaper rival. Fuel prices come from the government open data feed and are never sponsored.

Ranking is by real cost

Every list you see is sorted by the actual price you would pay: pence per litre for fuel, total contract cost for broadband and mobile, annual bill for energy.

What we will never do

No dark patterns. No fake urgency. No pre-ticked add-ons. No selling your data. If we ever bury a cheaper deal because it pays us less, we have failed at our job.

The short version

Some links on Cheqr are affiliate links. If you switch through one, the provider pays us a commission. That commission has zero influence on the rankings, the prices we quote, or which deals we show first. If a provider we do not have an affiliate deal with is cheaper, that provider still gets shown first.

We would rather show you an honest result and lose the click than trick you into a worse deal. That is the whole reason Cheqr exists.
